My Dear John and Mary:
Helen and I send you and your family our most sincere and heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Mother. You were a good a dutiful son who not only loved her but demonstrated that love on a daily basis. Oma played a very important and central role in many lives and she will be missed. But, like my own mother who lived to almost 101, she had a full 94 years and is now at peace with the Lord. But no matter how long they live, I can tell you that the passing of one’s mother is a major event in your life that leaves a very large void, especially when you were so close. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mary, John & Family
It was with great sadness that we learned yesterday of the passing of dear Oma. I have many fond memories of her and Opa when they lived on Droxford. They were always so full of good cheer and so affectionate with me. It must have been such a comfort to have you close by in Kelowna to keep her company and to care for her all those years. She lived a good long life and I’m sure God has provided a warm and welcome home for her where she can now be with Opa. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and I’m so glad that Kathryn is with you too. God bless all of you. Love, Helen & Marshall
Dear Mary and John
We were sorry to hear that Oma passed away on Dec. 3rd. We still recall fond memories of visiting with you and her in Kelowna and swimming in Oma and Opa’s pool. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Love, Cathy and John
Dear John and Mary,
Our sincere condolences to all of you at this sad time. I have such fond memories of Oma (and Opa). She welcomed all of us into her home, first on Droxford, later in Agincourt and then in Kelowna. I remember her generosity as she introduced me to lovely German delicacies and sweets…all new to me as a young child. Her kindness later extended to Allan and the girls during our stay with them in Kelowna.
In time, may memories of happy times shared with her, bring you peace and comfort.
Love Margie and Al
Dear John, Inge and families –
Our sincere condolences and caring thoughts on the passing of your beloved mother. You were both so attentive and caring as you visited your mother and helped her in so many ways. We knew her for just a short time, but she was a lovely, gentle lady. We know she is now in a better place and at peace. In time, may warm memories help fill the void she has left.
Catrina and Roy (BH)
Dear Mary and John and family
