SCINICARIELLO, Cosmo
September 12, 1938 — June 15, 2018
On Friday June 15, 2018, Cosmo Scinicariello of Kelowna passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years.
Cosmo will be lovingly remembered by wife Pina of 55 years; by their children Maria (Andy) Macdonnell, Gianna (Derek) Oram and Mina (Carlo) Cerminara. Cosmo will also be fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren: Christopher, Michael, Nicholas, Jacob, Isabella, Sofia, Alyssa, Julianna, Matteo and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Cosmo was born in Gaeta, Italy on September 12, 1938. He immigrated to Canada in 1958 and resided in Winnipeg for 15 years. In the fall of 1973 he moved to Kelowna with his family and worked at several men’s clothing shops as a tailor. In 1978 he opened his own tailor shop downtown on Bernard Ave., and had a very successful career for over 30 years. He was a wonderful family man who was a friend to many and will be missed immensely.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday June 23, 2018, at St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Rd, Kelowna, with Father Bart van Roijen presiding. Reception to follow in the parish hall following Mass. All are welcome.
