SCOTT, Ferdinand Valentino (née Skof)
May 9, 1925 — March 27, 2026
Ferdinand, born May 9, 1925 in Maribor, Slovenia, was the last known surviving sibling of his family. He passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at the Spring Valley Care Centre in Kelowna, BC.
He was predeceased by his parents Karl and Roza; his wife Olga; and his siblings Karolina, Franz, Josef, Karl, Maria, Mike, Leo, Fredi, Ivan, Hans, Vinko and Mimica. Survived by his former wife Hilda; their children Steve, Gary and Sharon; and grandchildren Michelle, Derek and Vanessa; Ferdinand is also survived by Annemarie, his daughter in Austria. He was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life to occur in the Ottawa area at a later date.
