We Remember

SCRIVER, Roy

August 23, 1954 — April 4, 2024

On April 4, 2024, Roy Scriver sadly passed away at home with his partner Connie by his side after a long battle with cancer.

Roy was born in Toronto, Ontario on August 23, 1954, and grew up in the small town of Collingwood. He was an adventurous and chatty boy growing up who enjoyed camping with his family and fishing at the pond at his grandpa’s farm. In his adulthood, Roy decided to move to BC where he would eventually meet the love of his life Connie, and start their life together with his three stepdaughters. Roy worked as a carpet installer most of his life but he was Jack of all trades. He had a big heart and was always happy to lend out his many skills helping out friends and family without ever asking for anything in return. Roy enjoyed going on road trips with Connie and spending time with his grandkids playing games and building Lego. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his mother Margaret, and siblings Douglas and Kathy. He is survived by his partner Connie; his siblings Deborah and Charles; his stepdaughters Armelyn, Karen, and Ruth; and his grandchildren Patrick, Kelly, Tristan, Madisson, Wyatt, and Georgia.
