I met Bill while on his mission of heritage restoration of many early century downtown buildings. I remember Bill always smiling, listening , respecting others and the process , with spirit and fun along the way. Bill was truly a pillar of the community and I am proud to have known him.
Dear Pam
I am so very sorry to have just learned of Bill’s passing.. It has been a while since we last saw each other, but it was always easy to reconnect; almost like we’d seen each other the day before.. “Billie” was a very special guy with a personality larger than life. I hope your memories and the many years you shared together will help you find peace at such a difficult time.
Kevin
Pam, Al and I were devasted to hear about Billie. We always looked forward to running into him on the docks or at the club. His smile and laugh were infectious. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Stay strong.

I was so shocked to hear of Bill’s passing -far too young. I feel so privileged to have had those on snow years working with Billy. His warm personality and his beautiful smile combined with his hard work developing his own skiing made him a gifted ski teacher. He was the perfect model of a ski pro’s contribution to developing new skiers helping to build the successful reputation of our own ski school in the wonderful Big White years of the 70’s. My deepest sympathies to Pam and his extended family and friends – he will be missed. Sue & Brian James
My heart is sad for you and your family, Pam. Sending you my deepest condolences.and prayers.
Dear Pam, what a shock. I am so saddened by this news. I’m so sorry for your loss . And the whole family’s loss. These days will be difficult to get through. My thoughts & prayers are with you girl. Bill was such a joy to be around! Big hugs! 💔🙏
Pam and family, our most sincere condolences. We are so very sorry to lose Bill. He was a tremendous champion and hero for Kelowna’s Heritage and a kind and generous friend to the people who were fortunate to be in his life. We will be out of town for his Celebration of Life but plan to make a fitting donation in his honor.
Very saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. He was my landlord on Water Street for many years. Simply put he was just a wonderful person.

Dear Pam, Ursula and families, such sad news! We will always keep Bill in our minds and the wonderful, great time we spent together when Bill and Pam visited us at our home in Austria a couple of years ago.

Dear Pam, I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Bill’s passing. Not only was Bill one of my favorite clients but also a great friend. I have fond memories of all the projects we did together over the years. Dealing with “Mr. Bill” the businessman and his alter ego “Peter the designer” not only cumulated with many laughs along the way, but also resulted in exceptional final products that were truly unique compared to what everyone else was doing. He had great vision, had a larger than life personality and will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to you and family. Keith Wemp
Dear Pam. Sooo sad to hear of Bills sudden passing. Our thoughts are with you at this time and know that our lives were richer for knowing him. Bill was a beautiful soul and full of joy. Sincerely Jan and Kevin Kean.
I heard the news just last week from a close friend of Bills. I would visit Kelowna bi-annually for over a decade and rented one of Bill’s apartments when in town. Bill was always laughing and had a great sense of humour and to say that he had a tight group of friends is an understatement. We had many drinks and dinners together when i was in town. My condolences to Pam and family.
It is so sad to hear the passing of Bill. We can not imagine what you are going through. Our deepest condolences and if there is any thing we can assist with please call us
Pam and Scutt Family,

Pam and Scutt family,
We are saddened to hear of Bill’s untimely passing. The Scutt family lived next door to the Mervyns family home so we have known Bill for his entire life. His contributions to Big White were enthusiastic and helpful, from years at the ski School and more recently as chair of the Copper Kettle condo association.
He will be missed by so many friends and colleagues.
Our sincere sympathy to you all
Doug and Marie
