Verna and family! Stefan, Beverly and Michael are also heartbroken and send our love and hugs to you all. What a loss for us all. He was larger than life and had a smile that was so wonderful. Such memories he left us to cherish forever. Our deepest sympathy and prayers. There are no words to describe my love (Bev) for Bill growing up and as an adult. It hurts so much. Take Care Verna. We love you so.
There just aren’t words to express how sorry we are for Bill’s passing. We so enjoyed getting to know Verna and Bill here in Arizona. We will miss him so much, especially seeing him take Miss Prima for her daily golf cart rides. RIP Bill
“Friends are the family that you choose”. Bill was more than a great friend, he was like an older brother (kiddingly to him I would say “much older”).
We shared golf together every Thursday for 7 years and I was fortunate enough to be there when he made his hole in one. Bill was so happy that day and it was wonderful to be able to experience that with him.
I used to kid him all the time about living in the past and his love for “The Righteous Brothers”. Another great memory was when we surprised him with tickets to “The Guess Who”. He said that was a special evening because it brought back so many memories of growing up in Winipeg.
Even though his passing is very sad, I feel blessed to have met him and to have had so many great memories. Even though we no longer have Bill we look forward to having many great years with Verna.
To Verna & family
It is with a heavy heart that we send our condolences. We were privileged to know Bill here in Sun City Festival. He was a very kind and compassionate man. We have many wonderful memories with Verna and Bill. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family.
To Verna, Rachelle, Jason, and Family’s, along with Bills Sister Patricia and her family. Please accept my sincere condolences to you all, on Bills sudden passing. Bill was a fine man and a great friend and will be sorely missed. I hope to be able to see you personally at the service in Calgary. Meanwhile support and love each other as we all grieve with you. Sincerely – Al Whitteron
We wish for the family to know that Bill was loved by all who knew him in Sun City Festival. He was our immediate next-door neighbor and seeing him drive by on his golf cart daily will be a sad reminder of his passing. We will be praying for Verna and the family during this sad, sad time.
To Verna and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts are with you. I enjoyed doing business with Bill, and learned a lot from him. He was one of the good guys.
Rick and I are deeply sorry for your loss. Bill was a real gem in our community at Quail Ridge, known for his huge smile straight from a loving heart. Verna, there is no word to say how sad we are feeling. Please if there is anything we can do for you, just know we are here, just a few houses away. God bless!
Uncle Bill…. that is what I will always remember him to be. Very special person with a kind heart. My sympathies go out to the Semnovitch family and especially to my Aunty Pat & family.

I wanted to share another photo of Bill. This photo was the celebration of Bill’s 71st birthday. Jonna, my mother-in-law Shirley and myself were visiting the Canadian Rockies. Bill and Verna as always were great hosts. RIP Bill.
Verna and family,

We feel grateful and blessed for sharing the last few years as friends with Bill. We will forever hold dear his laugh, the twinkle in his eye and his open arms of friendship. Bill will forever be in our hearts.
Rest well, dear friend

Words cannot begin to express how shocked we are to learn of Bill’s passing. He is gone far too soon for all of us who are left to mourn. His presence was one of infectious joy and his attitude conveyed the belief that we must embrace each day and hold tight to every precious moment we are allowed on God’s great earth. We will forever hold the memory of one special night here under the desert sky when several neighbors had gathered in Bill and Verna’s lovely home. Bill raised his glass to welcome us all and left us with these words, ” Folks, we are now in the fourth quarter of our lives so let’s make the most of every day!” Bill, we promise to do just that and be assured that our prayers of comfort and peace will be with Verna and the family. As we always stated each time we said good-bye, “Hugs and love, our dear friend!”
With our heavy hearts we will say goodbye to Bill tomorrow. Our deepest condolences to Verna and her famiy. Many hugs to everyone. We will miss seeing Bill’s sweet smile and his warm hugs. His smile always made your day a happier one. Our street will not be the same in Phoenix but our memories of Bill will always be with us. Rest in Peace Bill. You are missed by many. XO
