Dear Family,I wish I was closer so I could even in a small way perhaps help make this loss a little easier. Mom had written a quote in her journal that we had engraved on her stone. It reads, ” To live in the hearts of those we love, is not to die.” I hope these words as time goes on will give you all some comfort. I have great memories of your Mom. She was a funny, fiesty, loving lady. She came out to be with us when Mom passed away. I saw how much she loved all her family and siblings. She brought me back a big shell, which I still have, from the Bahamas many years ago. Remember that you are never alone in your loss and that others do understand. I know that you will be there for each other and as a family can help and support one another each day. You are all in my thoughts.
