It is with profound sadness we announce that after a courageous battle, Lorraine passed away, surrounded by her entire family on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the age of 65. Survived by her loving husband, Lyle, of 43 years; sons: Tim (Michelle) of North Vancouver, Drew (Ashley) of Toronto, ON; five grandchildren: Lila, Andrew, Matthew, Emerson and Taylor; two sisters: Carol Anderson and Donna (Joe) Morelli; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, her extended family and numerous friends in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and England. Predeceased by her parents George and Ruth Pettyprice, her in-laws: Phil and Doras Shrigley; nephew Darren; brother-in-law Stu and niece Syrell. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 16th at 11:00 am at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church. A celebration of life will follow in the Spring of 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3.
