SIMMONS, Savella Ann “Sally” (née Soloduke)

It is with great sorrow that Sally’s family announce her passing on April 28, 2022. She has now gone to be with the Lord at the age of 90. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Phyllis Schwartz (wife of the late Frank), by her son Donald Prochera, and by her sister Julia Perverseff, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children’s father, Paul Prochera. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Roy M. Simmons. Among her siblings, she was predeceased by her sister Mary Nesdoly and by her brothers Bill and Walter Soloduke.
She was born in the loveliest part of Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon region, to the late Ann and Dmytro Soloduke. Sally was known by family, friends, and business colleagues to be a happy and vibrant woman of many skills and talents. This warm, gracious, precious gem of a person always went out of her way to make everyone feel included and special.
A private interment will take place at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, followed by a family celebration of her life. She will be forever remembered and missed.

Deepest sympathies go out to the family and all who knew Sally. As my sister in law I knew her as a vibrant , graceful and a loving woman… She was kind to all. She will be missed and remembered by Beverly Vatougios.

Sally graduated this life with Honors. She never complained. about anything. She had an infectious laugh and a lways smiled She never spoke ill of anyone
My Mother was very fond of Sally and it was mutual She was a special friend. I will never f0rget the good times and long conversations we had.

My last memories of Sally were in her home singing some of her favorite old hymns. She loved music and to sing. I can see her smiling face as we shared that time together. Deep condolences to you., Phyllis and Donald. May the God of peace , comfort you in these days.
