To Carey & Drew; Both of you have my condolences on the passing of your father & grandfather.I was a member of the Young Adult Singles (Life.com/OASIS) Trinity Baptist Church from September/1998 to June/2002.
Thank you.
Roselyn, we send our heart felt condolences to you upon hearing of Gord’s passing. We had great comaraderie too, many years ago and will miss him until we meet again. Thankfully, Ed Remple was able to track us down in Florida to inform us about this sad news. We pray the love of God upholds you through the journey of your grief.
Good to hear from you both. It’s been a long time I appreciate so much your prayers. Thank you .
A great picture and memory of my Dad after riding his new bike in Central park in Burnaby.
Both knees bleeding through holes in pants- as he really liked riding for the first time using pedal straps. Stopping was another matter and he just fell over- twice both sides… couldn’t wipe the smile off his face though.
He went on to ride a lot of miles with Mom and many new stories. New knees too!
🙂
That’s better
Well Gord I didn’t get to know you that well but you definitely made an impression. You showed me what the patriarch of a family should be and you taught me to be thankful under ALL circumstances. To always give thanks and to be grateful. This is a seed you planted in my heart and its growing. Thank you.
I know God used you as an instrument to teach me through and it was very clear to me that evening at your dinner table. I feel blessed to have known you. Thank you.
May peace and love be with your family and especially your wife Roslyn. RIP.
Thank you. He was truly blessed to have had you there. I will never forget when you ‘tapped’ his cancer free ummm headtop.
– what a way to meet the family. God bless you Beautiful Nicole.
I knew Gordon when I was a little kid and we both lived on the East Townsite in Pioneer. A big, good-looking boy who was always nice to us younger ones, helping us build snow forts. I remember him telling me to not stand under the street light if I wanted to see the stars. Those precious early years in our beautiful valley will never be forgotten or the good people we shared them with. My condolences to his family Peace be with you. Sincerely, Judi.
What a wonderful memory to have from your childhood. I have heard many stories of life in PIONEER and the benefits of living in a small Township. Thank you for sharing with us. Roslyn
We are so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing! Our thoughts and prayers go out you all❤
P
thank you both for your kindness.
I just read about Gord’s passing. I am very sad to hear this but I am so pleased to have been given the opportunity to share many good times with Gordon in Prince George. I remember the photography we shared, the cub camps we shared the leadership, and most of all the personal moments we enjoyed together. Thank you God for letting me share some of Gordon’s life. I have photos Gord and I took. I must go look them up.
Thanks Garry. We shared many good times with you and Norden, like our trip to Portugal and to shows at the Queen Elizabeth theater in Vancouver. Hope all is going well for both of you. Roslyn
So very sorry for your loss. Your many happy memories will help you through it. Growing up in Bralorne or Pioneer was the best place to be. Lots of rivalry between the two towns but we were all friends in the end. Will let Norm Gronski know of Gordons passing. Please give Bernice a big hug from us.,
Roslyn and all your family. So sorry to hear of Gorden’s passing. We just heard a few days ago. We were truly saddened by the news and also now of Jack. So sad we do not communicate more and share share our good times in life as well as these sad times. We send our love to you all and know we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.
