It is with enormous sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Lakh on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 51. He is survived by his loving wife Luciana of 14 years; two daughters, Serena and Priya; parents Lal and Manjit; brother Sukhdev Singh (Kulwant); sisters Darshan Pattria (Javed) and Paula Singh (Sanjeev Kumar); numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, co-workers, his Telus customers, as well as his extended family and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his brother Satnam and nephew Harpreet Majhu.
Lakh was born in India and came to Canada in November 1976 with his family. He grew up in Fort St. James, BC, and lived in Prince George a number of years before he moved to Kelowna in 2007. He has been part of the Telus IT team for many years. He will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. A Reception will follow at the Okanagan Sikh Temple, 1111 Rutland Road North, Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca, or to the GoFundMe page set up in Lakh’s memory to support Luciana and his children, Serena and Priya, www.gofundme.com/in-memory-of-lakhbir-singh-for-luciana-amp-the-girls

I am so sorry to hear. Lak was such a delight to be at work with. Always helpful and did everything with a smile. He was one I missed when I left Global. He constantly spoke of his wife and children with such love. You will certainly be missed by many!
