We Remember
SKOTT, Gerhard “Gerry”
April 27, 1936 — January 5, 2022
Gerhard Skott passed away peacfully on January 5, 2022 at the age of 85. His love and legacy live on through his treasured family: his wife of 48 years, Beverley “Bev”; daughters Monica (Jan Egil), Lisa (Clint), and Kelly; grandchildren Cody (Jayd), Sage, Amanda (Kyle), Carley (Brandon), Kree, and Mia; great-grandchildren Beau, Luke, and Owen; brother-in-law John (Debbie); and numerous nieces and nephews, and their families.
Born in Denmark, Gerry came to Canada at the age of 21. He was a farmer, and he owned several businesses throughout his years. His giving spirit was a shelter to so many. From his heart through his hands, his work lives on; he loved making, creating, and fixing. He had a love for chocolate, pastries, and most of all… FISHING!!
Never ready to stop, Gerry is now on to his next adventure
There will be no formal service, by his request. Family and friends will honour Gerry, each in their own way. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the KGH Foundation.

Thinking of you all at this difficult time. I’m happy to have spent time with uncle Gerry and I know he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Thinking of you and sending light. ♥
I am honored to have been a close friend of Gerry and Bev’s for 30 years. It’s hard to realize that “the Boss” isn’t with us any more, but his spirit will live on forever whenever we look at the beautiful things he created. RIP, Boss. I love you!
My condolences to Bev and their family. Gerry was such a great man he loved it when I would do some baking and shared with him Terry always packed something sweet in his lunch for Gerry when they went on their adventures fishing we well miss him dearly

Sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. I will always remember his humor and kindness. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Gerry made our stunning wood counter tops. He was always such a pleasure to visit and chat with! He also made me a beautiful bowl for my yarn for knitting that I still use and cherish. He did it just out of the kindness of his heart and gifted it to me. I’m sure he will be so missed.
