Kim started his next life on January 27, 2013 at the age of 59. Survived by his daughter Catherine Speed of Calgary and his brother Lyle Speed of Kelowna; his niece Melissa Speed (Corey) and nephew Todd McInnis; seven great nephews and three great nieces. Sadly predeceased by his father George, Aunt Hazel, Uncle Andy, mother Joy. Kim lived and played hard in his youth and settled a little after the birth of his daughter. He cared deeply for his daughter and brother. He will be loved and missed by many people. Kim enjoyed playing “Dealer McDope” with Koolaid as the drink of choice and just hanging out with friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Springfield Family Centre, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

hey todd lyle missy iam really really sorry to hear about kim holy way way to early my thoughts will be you all as well as kim for sure he’s with hazel and others ha ha now they can all get together up there and maybe maybe help us all down here someway perhaps? take care god bless always and kim well our yucker game shall have too wait..
I love and miss you dad, I think about you every day. I need you so much at this point in my life. I know you are here, I just want you here physically. I have this huge gap in my heart…I don’t know what to do without my Dad there for me. I don’t know what to do about a lot right now in my life and I really could use your advice.
