We Remember

Stacha, Eleonore

February 19, 1930 — January 28, 2012

STACHA – Eleonore was born February 19, 1930 and passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 28, 2012.  Survived by her loving family Evan, Sarama (Lyonoor), and Naomi (Robert).  Sadly predeceased by her husband Fedor in 2002.  Eleonore was diagnosed with Leukemia in early March 2011 and she fought a courageous battle with it.  We are thankful that she had good health through the summer, the season she loved most.  She was able to spend much of her time in her garden, a place she loved to be.  A celebration of Eleonore’s life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Bottega Farm Inn, 4485 Sallows Road in Kelowna

  • Albert Komant says:

I really enjoyed seeing your Mom, my friend Eleonore, this summer. I am so blessed to have had that chance to spend time with her. I was and am inspired by the joy she showed for life, and her peace at knowing that her time might be short. Knowing your family means so much to me, and I will treasure that forever.
