Passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the age of 80. Survived by her loving family John of Kelowna, Scott (Sharon) of Bright’s Grove, ON, Gerald (Janene) of Kelowna, Lisa of Edmonton; grandchildren Clayton, Sarah, Kyle (Melissa), Evan, Jaeda, Quinn, Nicolle, Cassidy, Matthew; great grandchildren David, George; brother Art (Alice) Charbonneau, sister Bernice (Ralph) Jackins, sisters-in-law Patti and Tillie, numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family, especially Margaret. Sadly predeceased by her husband David and siblings Jean, Audrey, Jim, Jack, Josephine. A special thank you to Dr. Butterworth, the staff at Lakeside Medicine Centre and Kelowna General Hospital for their exceptional care. The family also appreciates the support and help provided by her many friends including caregiver “Angie”, Jeanette and Harry. She was an exceptional woman with a beautiful smile, quick wit and great sense of humour. Frances always made everyone feel so welcome and loved. Two of her proudest accomplishments were her children and living with diabetes for close to 60 years. No service by request. A private family interment to follow in Calgary. So sorry to hear of your mom`s passing I know it is a very hard thing to lose your parents.My dad is gone now three years & mom a year & a half, they talked a lot about the Charbonneau family & how much they enjoyed there visits. Our deepest sympathy to all the Charbonneau, Stanhope families
