Dear Graham and family, we are saddened to hear of Pam’s passing. Our condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely Carol
Our heartfelt condolences to you (Graham) and Michael and to the extended family.
I met Pam an evening in early Spring in 1991 at the Kelowna Calligraphy Guild meeting as she signalled me out and said “we’re going to be friends” and there and then began the start of a amazing friendship. I will always love our time in her studio pouring over the latest and greatest art ‘gadgets’ and techniques and sharing, laughing and having the best time together. I will miss sharing our art supplies and most of all laughing together. We won’t be able to make the services but please know that both of us (and Charli) will be there with our love. We will be purchasing art in Pam’s name as well.
Pam was a remarkable woman. She had a gift for making people comfortable. She was warm and welcoming. She was also incredibly resilient and strong. We will always be grateful that we knew Pam, and you Graham, during our sun and fun filled Tucson winters. It just won’t be the same without her.
I am so sorry to learn of Pam’s passing. I am an RT at the hospital who enjoyed caring for and speaking with Pam for a long time. I used to show her videos of my kids and she would tell me stories. What a strong woman. If she is remembered as anything, it should be as a warrior and a survivor. God bless.
Hi Lisa Ann.
I’m Graham Stevens, Pam’s husband. Somehow, I missed your message last fall on her memorial page. I caught it tonight, January 20, while looking for the link to the funeral-webcast to send to a friend.
Thank you so much for your condolence. By the time I finished reading it, I realized this wasn’t a case of me missing something but of finding it exactly when I needed it. You caught the very core and soul of the most wonderful woman I could ever have married.
Pam spent over 57 years handling pain few people can even imagine. Yet, she never lost the smile, strength and incredible optimism that flew from her eyes and arms to those she held dear, whether new acquaintance or lifelong friend. Your message reminded me once again how fortunate I am to have shared life and love with Pam for over a third of a century.
Sincerely,
Graham Stevens
