We Remember
STEWART, James Thomas Andrew
—
1935 – 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim “J.T.A” Stewart on January 26, 2021 in his 85th year. Predeceased by the love of his life, Ruth, Jim is survived by daughters Lori (Randy) and Lynne (Glen); grandchildren Matthew (Lisa), Brandon (Kristen), Emily (Marc) and Spencer; great-granddaughter Celeste; and brother Denys (Barb) and family.
After 30 years in policing, including the RCMP, Chief of Police of Matsqui, BC and Corp Commissionaires, Jim retired to enjoy a life of motor-homing with Ruth and to spend time with his family.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad. My husband Larry who now has Alzheimer’s and resides in a care home, travelled together for several years in our motorhomes. They both were so much fun to be with and I treasure all the times we spent together.
