We Remember
STEWART, Levi Dakota
September 9, 1993 — September 23, 2022
With heavy hearts, we regret to announce the passing of Levi Stewart, who died unexpectedly on September 23, 2022, at the young age of 29. He leaves behind a broken-hearted family: his mother and stepfather Norine & Frank Cacciatore; his father and stepmother Duane Stewart & Jennifer Warner; his 3 brothers Dallas, Judah & Chevy; and his 2 step-brothers Lukas and Jakub; as well as his extended family and treasured friends.
Levi was a kind and gentle soul. His love was raw and simple, untainted by the toil and unfairness of life. He was quick to forgive, and even quicker to forget. His love for his brothers reached beyond the borders of comprehension, and he was fiercely loyal to his friends.
Under that red hoodie, was a caring boy with a generous heart that always put others ahead of himself. Levi humbled himself to ensure everyone else felt accepted and loved. He was respectful, inclusive, and just simply didn’t have it in him to judge others.
Anyone who knew Levi, knows pain never stopped him from enjoying an adventurous life. There are countless stories from family and friends where we would cringe at his fearlessness. When he wasn’t engaged in daring feats, he could be found watching repeats of his favourite show The Office, laughing at quotes like:
“Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.” – Michael Scott
“I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.” – Michael Scott
For those of you who may not know, for as long as we can remember, Levi always wore mismatched socks. He would burst out in celestial laughter if he looked down and saw everyone honouring his uniqueness by wearing mismatched socks to the service.
We love you, Levi, and will miss you forever.

Norine and family – I am so sorry for your unthinkable loss. What a beautiful obituary and tribute to Levi. I remember Cecil and I visiting you for dinner when your boys were young and our after dinner activity was watching the boys run tumble over each other all evening. It was highly engaging entertainment and part of the inspiration for us to start our own family. God be with you. I will be thinking of you today for the service.
You dear people! This is really just the worst news imaginable. There is nothing worse than losing a treasure such as Levi obviously was. Our hearts go out to you from Naramata,

Our hearts have broken many times in the past days as Levi has come to mind. And again it breaks when you guys come to mind trying to deal with this unimaginable loss. We come again together to try holding each other up through this time. Levi was so much to so many and we have only had a small piece of that time.
So we can only love you as best we can. So, so sorry for the loss.
