Hermann Stockel, 86, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024, at Lakeview Lodge in West Kelowna, BC. Born on December 4, 1937, in Germany, Hermann’s life was marked by dedication and a love for excellence.
Hermann leaves behind memories and inspiration that will continue to resonate with his loved ones. He is survived by his children Robert Nedohin (Angela) and Gabriela Nedohin; cherished grandchildren Erick Benedikt and Nikolas Benedikt (Celisha); as well as his great-grandchild Bjorn Benedikt. He was predeceased by his beloved spouse, Irma Maria (née Nedohin).
A Mechanical Engineer in Aviation, Hermann’s career with Air Canada in Montreal exemplified his commitment to excellence. Upon retiring to West Kelowna, he embraced living a beautiful life.
An avid sports enthusiast, Hermann delighted in soccer, skiing, tennis, and chess tournaments. His passion for perfection extended beyond work and sports; he was a skilled accordion and harmonica player as well. He generously shared his talents and knowledge with others.

A Graveside Service will be held in Quebec at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
