Looking back on the memories I have of Francis never fail to make me smile. She had a beautiful soul with a magnetic personality, and I can’t count the amount of times she was able to lift me up no matter how I felt that day. Frannie treated me like family for the 20 years I was lucky enough to have worked with her and it will be very difficult for me to accept not having her in my life anymore. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
We are so very sorry. We are praying for comfort for you & your girls.
I went to junior and senior Highschool with Frances in 100 Mile House. I have not a single bad memory of her. She was always smiling, always positive, always one of the girls we other girls wanted to be! What with her beautiful face and her Highschool sun-in hair! Her school romance with Donald Barnett seemed like what dreams were made of for us single losers!! ♥️ She was the Golden Girl and she made them the Golden Couple (sorry Donald it was all about Frannie!) I also remember her being one of the first of our class to start driving to school, which was also enviable. The irony is not lost on me that Frances lost her life in a car accident. I have said this to our mutual friend Beth Swalwell – we are too young to die. It doesn’t make sense. 1984 high school graduation seems like just yesterday…my heart goes out to Frances’s husband Dale and her beautiful kids Chloe and Lauren. May you girls both become “Golden Girls” and be a bright smile, a sweet soul and a kind heart in your mother’s place. Rest in peace old friend.
I met Frances for the first time when she joined our grade 3 class at Forest Grove Elementary. Mrs Palmer introduced her, and Frances was the sweetest girl. She had that inner beauty that radiated. She was awarded the school citizenship award several times over because she was such a beautiful giving person. And she carried that through all through her life. I was so happy to get reconnected with her a few years ago. No matter how long we have been away from 100 Mile, those wonderful years will always be with us. God bless you, Frances.
We are so terribly sorry for your loss of lovely Frances. She was a radiant person and so kind. Rest in Peace, Frances.

Frances was one of the most beautiful, kindest, souls that I had ever met. I lived near her at Canim Lake. I saw her at several events around there. I even went to school with her from Forest Grove Elementary right up to Peter Skeen sr sec. Every time we would pass in the hall at school, she would always say hi and always with a smile. I will always remember her for her kindness and ability to see the good in others. There will never be another person like her ever. She touched my life in a special way back then and I will never forget that. My condolences to the family and all the people that were touched by her life. I am so sorry for your loss.

Frances welcomed us (Ellen Wilcox, Elizabeth Mcpherson, DOrothy Thompson) this summer in the beautiful Kalamalka Lake wine district and shared lunch with us. She was so welcoming, kind and gracious. I knew her when she was a little girl on Ralph Street in Lynn Valley, the neighbour and niece of my sister and her husband.
Mine and my family’s hearts and thoughts are with you in this sorrowful time,

Even though Frances was not at the reunion this summer her memory was. Her name came up often and always with a smile. My high school memories with Frances range from Toga parties to a little bit of cheating in social studies ( which we got caught ). All my memories of Frances bring a smile to my face, she will never be forgotten and greatly missed.
I cannot imagine your pain Dale but I want you to know that I am praying for you and your girls.
When I first started at Schell a Dental, it was very clear that Frannie was the”mom” of the office – she was the one who made sure that everyone was included, that everyone got a birthday cake, and that she said good bye and good morning to each person, every day. Frannie was kind and funny, conscientious and thoughtful. Those days when Frannie was at home with her girls or on holidays always seemed a little longer, and we all waited for Frannie to return to share with us her dramatic stories and adventures. But what I will miss most of all is her big smile and wonderful hugs. Frannie, we love you and our lives will not be the same again.
Dale and family, Francis was such a delight, always brightened our day when she dropped into the office with your invoice, often bringing us treats she had baked. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your girls during this most difficult time.

I am so sorry Dale and your girls for the loss of Frances. She was so kind and always friendly either in person or emails. She brought fresh baking in to us at the office at GTR many times, often just because. The one time I asked her about all the work she does in the morning and she said baking for people always makes her happy. While we will miss the goodies, she will be missed so much more and always remembered by me.
Thinking of you and your family today, Frances! All our memories of you were good ones as you were such a kind hearted, thoughtful person. Thinking of Dale, Chloe and Lauren as well as Connie and her family. Heartfelt condolences to you. Sure wish we could be there in person but we are there in Spirit!
Franny was a lovely lady!! So sorry for the loss. Schell Dental will not be the same. Hugs and prayers to the family and friends

We are so sorry. Working with Frannie at Schell Dental was a pleasure. She had an easy, friendly way about her. We’ll always remember the birthday cakes and treats she would make and her “fresh coffee” call as she came into the room. Please accept our condolences, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are so deeply saddened to hear of Frances’ passing, Dale. Frances was such a kind, graceful and thoughtful person; we can’t ever recall seeing her without a smile on her face.
We hope your memories are of comfort to you and your girls, and give you strength in the days to come. Our thoughts are with you.
I met Frances while my oldest daughter (Mariah) attended kindergarten with Chloe, our children later attended a daycare together for a short time including Lauren and my second oldest (Mackenzie), they also all attended many birthday parties together. Frances was always so open, easy to talk to and so very kind! She would always take the time to say hello in our hectic mornings of dropping off girls and heading off to work. I remember her excitement over an upcoming family vacation and then on her return hearing all about it, she loved her family dearly! She always took the time for a conversation, or a smile or friendly wave when time was bearing. Haven’t seen her friendly face for some time with all the changes over the years but the world will not be the same without her!
I haven’t had a day pass since Frances passing that you haven’t been in my thoughts and prayers, I am so very sorry for your loss Dale, Chloe and Lauren, May your memories of Her be forever sealed in your hearts. I was truly Blessed to have known your Frances, Wife and Mother!
