We Remember
STUTTERS, Annie Agnes (nee Griffin)
—
Went peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on the morning of July 2, 2015. Mom leaves behind her 6 children, Lois Ryan (Terry), John (Sharon), Chris (Evelyn), Dwight (Ardiss), Donald (Debbie), Keith (Loretta), her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her sisters Frances Jean of Fort McMurray and Lois Isabel McCullough (Bill) of Terrace; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stutters was predeceased by her loving husband George Charles Stutters in 1993, her son Karl in 1955 and grandson Wesley in 1997.
Mom will be fondly remembered for her dedication to her family and the spiritual heritage she has left us.
Mom loved her tea time and visitors! She loved to show them her rose garden, and other plants and flowers. Mom made biscuits almost every day!! Whenever her grandchildren visited they made biscuits with her – she catered to them!! Mom loved children, evidenced by her teaching Sunday School and babysitting children for working mothers. Mom believed in all of her children, often telling us “if you do your best, no one can do better”. Mom especially loved boys and girls, encouraging them and helping all who came to her door for snacks or to play in our yard. Her home was one that always had room for one more! Mom was there for her husband and all the children, hers and others. She was a people person. We will cherish her memory always as she taught us, her children well, and encouraged us to live for God, home and each other.

Lois, John, Chris, Don, Dwight and Keith:
So sorry to hear of Aunty Annie’s passing. I remember spending many enjoyable summer weeks staying with all of my cousins at Aunty Annie and Uncle George’s after moving here from Saskatoon. I got spoiled royally by Aunty Annie during my stays teaching me how to embroider and bake. She always had a special place in my heart and will be missed dearly.
Hugs and love to all of you from your cousin
Dawn xoxo
I’m sorry for the loss of your of your dear loved one, Annie, you are not alone and may you be comforted from the God of all comfort thru his word the holy bible at Psalms 34:18: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” God’s word also says at Isaiah 25:8: “He will swallow up death forever , And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces………: This is what God’s Kingdom, under Jesus Christ rulership, will accomplish for all those who love righteousness. God’s word says at Psalms 37:29: “The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.” http://www.jw.org

It was a joy to be a friend of Mom Stutters.
Her life, her faith, her marriage and love for family was an example
of a godly woman.
Mom Stutters never missed an opportunity to do an act of kindness for someone
else or just give a kind word or a note of encouragement.
A simple life that was a real gift to us all to show us God’s way
Love and Prayers, Ron and Joan

Aunt Annie – what a beautiful lady. So many amazing memories.
Aunt Annie always took the time for her surprise visitors to show us around her flower garden and of course have cookies on hand to share.
To my cousins, the Stutter family. Our lives are built on memories and your mom, Aunt Annie, will always have a special place in my heart. Our condolences to the family. We have many happy memories of Aunt Annie; from her toy drawer for the children, her yummy biscuits, her ready smile and hugs when we visited, numerous pots of tea always available, the sharing of her photos and the pleasure she took in seeing ours, the prayers she made for us and our families to the way she made each of us feel special. We will miss her and are grateful to have known her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We have many fond memories of Aunt Annie not the least of which was her continuous smile. May you find peace in the knowledge that she is now fully experiencing the peace of God which passes all understanding.
My deepest sympathies in the loss of your mom. I was first acquainted with your family in Sunday School with Lois as my teacher and then (I believe) Chris after that. In my early teen years Mrs. Stutters, out of the goodness of her heart, ran a girls club in her home where she taught us how to crochet and embroider and our only requirement each week was to memorize a bible verse. She treated us with her lovely biscuits and tea or a cold drink. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Stutters on many occasions at the girls club and from time to time one of the boys would pop in for a visit. I have always had great memories of Mrs. Stutters and she will be fondly remembered.
Lois and family . We want to share our sympathy in the loss of your mum.She was truly a people person and we treasure our times we visited with her. Think of her gentle care to my Grandmother. In friendship Lydia and Bill Redden from Nova Scotia
Condolences to Annie’s family. We were honoured when Annie chose us to take over care of her beloved little dog, Misty. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.
