A good, happy man. The Knights will miss him, as I do also. May the family feel the comforting presence of Almighty God and the Saints over them at this time to help them in their grief. Sincerely, Chase Conell, parishioner, St Pius X.

My deepest condolences to Alek’s family and all his loved ones. May he rest in peace.
I have known ‘Alsie’ for almost 20 years. We were workmates; ‘friends’, at B&B Scale Models, and I have never met a more talented, friendly ‘Teddy Bear’ of a truly decent and gentle man as he was. I truly regret not accepting his last invitation to me to come over to his fourplex for; ‘A quick beer and cigar’ when I happened across him at Safeway while shopping. Alek was a true friend. Never an unkind word to, or about anyone. I remember one time in 2005 when I was fortunate enough to have won an Audi TT Roadster in a hospital lottery, and drove over to his house to see him, and offered to take him for a quick ride in it. He declined, but his son Blazj was there and went with me instead. To this day I remember him grabbing me by the shoulder before I left, Pulling me close to him he said: “BRING HIM BACK!!” I tried to contact him after he left BB, but was unable to do so. And it is of even deeper sadness that I did not hear of Alsie’s passing until only recently. I miss him very much. He was a rare and honest friend. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his Son and Daughter and his entire Family. He Is, and will forever, Be Missed. Jon Evers. (Jonsie!)
