Passed away peacefully on December 18, 2011 at the age of 80. He is survived by his daughter Denise (Joe); his grandchildren Kodi and Kara; brothers Morio (Jane), Jack (Irene); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pidge was predeceased by his wife Mich, his parents and five brothers. Pidge retired from OK Builders Supply, where he worked for many years. He enjoyed five and ten pin bowling, golfing and fishing. Pidge will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Pidge had a heart of gold and was always helping people out. Special thanks to Dr. Alexis Thomson, the Kelowna Cancer Clinic, the amazing staff at the Central Okanagan Hospice House and a very special heartfelt thank you to Judy Deleurme. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 21st at 2:00 pm at the Kelowna Buddhist Temple, 1089 Borden Avenue, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 202-1835 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 3H5 or the Central Okanagan Hospice Association – Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6.
