We Remember

TARON, Evelyn

February 20, 1933 — August 21, 2023

On August 21, 2023, at the age of 90, Evelyn Taron went to be with the Lord, while she was surrounded by the love of her family.  Her son Rick and daughter-in-law Shari, along with son Dwayne and daughter-in-law Ladine, will hold fond memories of her. She leaves behind a legacy cherished by six grandchildren: Chriss, Jeff (Somaya), Jamie (Nick), Karli (Ruben), Cammi, and Kelsi (Josiah), as well as eleven beloved great-grandchildren: Jayden, Jessica, Chloe, Jaxon, Milo, Talia, Heidi, Bella, Paxton, Levi, and Emerson. Additionally, she will be deeply missed by her sister Marge and brother-in-law Tony Abram, brother Bill and sister-in-law Wanda Kryzanowski, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and the many friends who were touched by her presence. Evelyn now joins her beloved husband, Ed, who passed away before her in 2013.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the dedicated Cottonwoods staff in Kelowna, BC, whose exceptional care and efforts in looking after Evelyn did not go unnoticed. Your commitment is genuinely valued.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a cause that held special meaning for Evelyn: supporting the ministry endeavours of Tony & Marge Abram at Abundant Life Crusades.
