We Remember
TAYLOR, Judith (Judy) Eileen
—
Judith (Judy) Eileen Taylor went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2014 at the age of 70 yrs. old.
Survived by her loving partner David McInnes and two daughters Lori Charlene Taylor and Shannon Leigh Taylor and sadly predeceased by her dear son Darren Kempton Taylor. Her four beautiful grandchildren, Brayden W, Carlee E, Brody R. Lomax and Tristan D. Taylor. Her two sisters Joan (Burton predeceased), Janice (Maurice) and many nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by parents George and Evelyn Lanigan.
Judy’s family (and extended) were the most important thing in her life. She got so much joy out of watching her grandchildren grow and be there with and for them every step of the way. Laughter was her best medicine she gave us all. She was the village master of our family. She was a loved by so many and had the hugest heart and always saw the best in everyone she met. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone. She was always known as the “cool Mrs. T”. Her door was open to anyone who needed her or a place to just be.
She was involved in many community organizations and ran the Central Okanagan Alertine for many years. As well as founded the Compassionate Friends support group in Kelowna for parents who had lost their children. In the last 5+ years of her life, she met her soul mate that that treated her like a queen that she was and they taught each other so many things. He took her travelling to places she only had dreamed of and was so happy these past years. It was her time to enjoy herself and experience all the wonderful things she so deserved.
Our family motto was to Live, Love and Laugh and always look at the brighter side of life. She always said everything happens for a reason, whatever that reason maybe. She was an optimist and her sense of humour carried us all through the hardest of times. In which she was able to pass on to her grandchildren.
We will miss you forever and always and until we meet again we will continue to live, love and laugh. Now you’re free of pain and we know you will always be looking down on us, guiding us through life. We will know the signs.
We will have a celebration at a later date. Donations can be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation or Lung Association if one so wishes.

We are so sorry for your loss. We met Judy (and Dave) in Mexico and were immediately taken with her sense of humor and friendliness. The world is less one great person, but has left an angel to watch over you.
We hardly know what to say 🙁
Though I (Jane)have not seen Judy for many years, I remember with a happy heart many fun times we had together. We were very close when she lived in California. When Kempton visited Kelowna he got to see her at a graduation. He was sooo happy to see her 🙂 We are truly sorry for your loss. We pray that you girls will stay strong and continue your lives as she would want you too.
Most sincerely,
Kempton and Jane Carroll
