We Remember
THRUSH, Janette Lee
—
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandma and friend Janette Lee Thrush (nee LaPlume).
On August 12 2016, at the age of 65 with family by her side she lost her struggle with leukemia.
She is survived by her loving husband Wayne; daughter and son-in-law Tannis and Andrew McCarthy and their daughters Cadence and Hadley; siblings Lorraine Thomson, Bob LaPlume and Mona Marshall.
Janette loved spending time with her family especially her wonderful granddaughters and visiting with friends be it at the bingo hall or over a cup of Tim’s steeped tea. Her family would like to acknowledge the wonderful caring staff at Kelowna General Hospital and the rest of her health care team for their compassion in this difficult time.
Celebration of life service will be held at Springfield Funeral Home in Kelowna BC at 10 am Friday the 19th of August.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the KGH foundation or the Leukemia society of Canada.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
