Todd Anthony White P. Eng
December 15, 1967 — February 25, 2018
Todd passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Central Okanagan Hospice House with his wife Lori by his side. Todd’s sense of humor and love for his family helped sustain him in a 2-year long battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Michael, he will be greatly missed by his wife Lori, children Vincent, Anthony, Vanessa and Jessica, mother Marlane (Manfred), brother Rick (Hope), sister Jill (Trevor) and 15 nieces and nephews.
Todd’s family would like to thank his amazing team of doctors, especially Dr. Ben Wiese, who continuously went above and beyond. They would also like to thank the team of palliative nurses and staff for their loving support and compassion that brought comfort to Todd and his family as he spent his final days.
We will be celebrating his life at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 10th. Dear Todd,
Thanks for being such a great mentor, role model, and colleague. Your integrity, strength of character, positive attitude, admirable work ethic, and outstandingly kind demeanour made you not only someone to look up to, but someone always pleasant to be around. I’m sure you will be missed by many.
My sincerest condolences to your family. May you rest in peace.

Lori and Family
We are both so sorry for your loss. It was clear how Todd loved his family by the way you all showed him your love and devotion to him at the hospice. Our thoughts are with you.
Sincere condolences to Lori, Vincent, Anthony, Vanessa, Jessie and all of the other family members. Through my visits to the hospice in Kelowna, and conversations with Lori and Todd during those visits, I have come to know each of you without actually meeting you. I had the pleasure of working with Todd in the Electrical Engineering world. He was an outstanding mentor and role model to the engineering and design team members. His patience and guidance in technical matters were exemplary and all of us really appreciated his mentorship. His subtle humour was always appreciated, although to understand it one really had to do a little thinking. He even offered up a few one liners while at the hospice. When Todd left our company in July 2016, I had the pleasure of visiting him in the hospital before his post-surgery discharge. At that time, I presented him with an expired beer token from a Grey Cup game I had attended some years before. The message was simple: don’t leave the stadium with any beer tokens in your pocket. Since that time and up until his passing, I would see Todd and Lori’s posts on facebook showing various trips and even a trip to Rogers Place to see the Oilers!
While this is an extremely difficult time for all of you, I hope that in the future when you reflect about Todd you will take comfort in the fact that he did his best to use all of his beer tokens before leaving the stadium. The big man had a big heart and we will all miss him. I will see you all on Saturday….MJ
