We Remember
TSCHIDA, George
—
George Has Gone Fishing!
The family of George Tschida is sad to announce that he passed away on June 25, 2023.
George was 77 years young, he was an adventurous soul, who was humble and kind. A true local, George was born in Kelowna, BC, and always loved the outdoors. He could often be found fishing, hunting, and enjoying the mountains and nature. He had a quietness about him that animals were drawn to. He had a humble nature and was always kind and dependable. If you needed a helping hand he would be there for you.
George will be dearly missed, but he will never be forgotten. His memory will be honoured by his sister Terry; his brother Joe and sister-in-law Bev; as well as by his nephew Jon. He was predeceased by his parents and his older brother, John.
His family invites you to honour him, each in their own way. No formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, take an adventure yourself – go to your local creek/lake and feed the fish.
If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences”.
I am so sorry for your loss. I only met cousin George once and never forgot how kind he was.
I met my cousin George once when I was very young. I remember how nice he was. My heart is with you.
