We Remember

TURNER, Debbie Florence

April 22, 1952 — August 18, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Debbie Florence Turner on August 18, 2026, at the age of 74.

Debbie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Randy Turner; her daughter, Cassie (Cavell) Stanley; her cherished grandchildren, Charli and Carsten Stanley; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her father, James McNab; her mother, Ruby McNab; her brother, Johnnie McNab; and her son, Richard Kobelka.

Debbie had an incredibly generous heart and gave freely of herself to others. She loved giving gifts, but for Debbie, it was never simply about the gift itself. She had a special way of choosing something so perfectly suited to each person that it made them feel truly seen, known, and understood. Her thoughtfulness was one of the many ways she showed how deeply she cared for the people in her life.

Debbie and Randy shared a wonderful life together, filled with travel and adventure. Over the years, they explored many places around the world, always making time along the way to visit family and friends. When their children were young, Debbie and Randy loved including them in their travels, creating special family memories that would last a lifetime. As their children grew older, married, and had children of their own, the tradition continued, with family travel becoming part of many more treasured adventures together.

For Debbie, the joy of travelling was not only in discovering new places, but in sharing those experiences with the people she loved most. The destinations were memorable, but it was the time spent together that meant the most to her.

Debbie was a hardworking woman who took great pride in everything she did. She lived by strong values and possessed a deep sense of integrity, always believing in doing what was right and treating others with honesty and respect. A natural leader, Debbie was never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for what she believed in. Strong-willed and determined, she faced life on her own terms and rarely backed down from a challenge.

Her generosity, strength, work ethic, and unwavering character were qualities deeply admired by those who knew and loved her. Above all, Debbie will be remembered for the way she cared for others, the life and adventures she shared with her family, and the many ways she made the people around her feel loved and valued.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
