TUTT, Patrick Colin
—
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Patrick Colin Tutt on June 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving children and angelic music.
Pat is survived by his three children Ingrid (Kevin) Whetter, Charlie Tutt, and Amy (Roger) Bridges. A very proud grandpa, Pat will live on in the memories of his 8 grandchildren: Duncan, Sierra, Finn, Tyler, Dexter, Katya, Arwen & Max.
Pat was born in Kelowna on April 27, 1946 and raised with his sister Sharon in Trail by their late mother and father Magdelena Elizabeth (Maggy) and Charles Henry (Hank) Tutt. He eventually moved to the big city to start and raise his own family in West Vancouver with Joanne Tutt (nee Steele), late mother to his children.
Pat was generous beyond measure and gave all that he could, especially his time – he always made time to visit his kids, aunties, uncles, and friends both old and new. He had an adventurous heart and a love for hockey, fishing, mountains, trees, and the open road. He never saw obstacles, only opportunities. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday July 8, 2024, at 2.00 pm at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Avenue, in Kelowna, BC. There will be a reception after the service in the Family Center at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

From the first time I met Pat he was a good friend! We talked on the phone quite often & he
always made me laugh at some point (if not several)
during the conversation! He came to Saskatchewan in August 2023 to say goodby to John Kennedy (his trucker friend) and to me! We already miss his phone calls! He was a good friend!
May he rest in peace!
💕I’m so sorry Amy , Ingrid , & Charlie .💕

My condolences to you and your family. I had a chance to meet Patrick when I was really young. May he RIP 👼

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful father. He took me on my first and probably second and third motorcycle ride way back in the early sixties. I owe him much for that experince. Whenever we spoke, sadly not as much as we should have, he always spoke very highly of all of you.
May he rest in peace.
Cousin Glenn
I was so very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Growing up in Trail, he was a very good friend of my late husband’s (Rob). They lived in the same neighbourhood, attended the same schools, and played the same sports. In fact Pat was a member of our wedding party. He and Joanne visited us in our first home in Oregon, then later we reconnected in Vancouver. Unfortunately we lost touch over the years, but he was thought of often. My sincere condolences.
I am sorry to hear about Pats passing but I wanted to share a funny story about Pat when he was 12 or 13. We had at gym teacher Pat Pauluk who would paddle our behinds with a paddle if we had done anything wrong. Pat had his sister sew in padding in his gym shorts so it wouldn’t hurt. I thought a funny story would be appreciated at this time of difficulty!
God bless!
Pat was in my scaling class 1967 ,we were on the Fraser River on the logs your Dad for some reason started a day or 2 days later then us, had no log experiance ,we went on the logs at low tide,y when your father arrived the tide was up he looked at the situation and started walking out up to his bellie button we all looked on in , he finished the day soaked.
IF there was a contest for the most popular guy in class your father would have won hands down ,wonderful funny personality.
One of the greatest smiles, always a kind word, a handshake coming from his heart – the world was blessed. I was blessed to call him friend. ❤️🩹
