We Remember
ULANSKY, Mathew
—
November 1925 – January 2022
Mathew Ulansky immigrated to Canada in 1930, where his family settled in Vernon, BC. Matthew helped with the running of the family Vegetable Farm and later one of the largest apple orchards in the Valley.
His career started with the construction of the first Rope Tow at Silver Star Ski Mountain, and he worked on the addition of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
In 1956, he moved to Kelowna, BC and became an award-winning Home Builder/Land Developer. Some of the projects he worked on were the Golf and Country Golf Club and Evangel Tabernacle, along with many individual homes and land development projects.
Matt also volunteered his time with the church as an active Board Member, donating his time to build schools overseas. He always found time to balance his life with God, family, friends, work, and play.
He is survived by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ERDO: Emergency Relief & Development Overseas. Choose “child sponsorship where most needed”

So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. Hoping you find comfort in the many memories of good times with your Dad. I will always remember his smile and competitive spirit while playing games with his many friends. He was a fun and adventurous guy, who lived life big! …a very special friend to our family. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Tracey and Families,
My condolences to you and your family
Your dad was also a talented carpenter. Our family moved to West Kelowna in 1972 where we purchased a brand new home on Hants Rd built by your Dad. Mom and Dad enjoyed that beautiful home for 30+ years!
I was lucky enough to have your dad build (his last build before he retired in1990) it was on Applegreen Court and I enjoyed for 7 years.
Your dad was a stand up guy and it was an honour to know him!
