We Remember

VOSS, Dorene Francis

May 22, 1943 — November 27, 2022

Dorene went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2022, in Kelowna, BC.  Dorene is survived by her daughter Margo Bennett, and son David Voss; grandchildren Garret Mayert and Luke Voss; siblings Larry Willick, Ida Ransom, Marlena Johnson, and Richard Willick. She is pre-deceased by her parents Edna and Henry Willick.

Dorene was born on May 22, 1943, in Vancouver, BC and lived there for many years, where she married and had two children.  She was a hard worker, performing various office roles within the hospital.  She was a very kind, generous and compassionate woman, supporting and making any needed sacrifice for her children.  Dorene loved to help others, giving whatever she had, volunteering for the Salvation Army, or lending a helping hand to someone in need.  She had a great love for animals.

She is remembered by all as a very sweet and chatty lady.  Her strong faith in God was what helped her through in the end.  She will be greatly missed.

By request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
