We Remember

VOYER, Louise Audrey
March 25, 1944 — April 22, 2025
It is with profound love that we announce the loss of Louise Audrey Voyer, who passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on April 22, 2025, at the age of 81.
Louise leaves behind a wealth of love, including her husband Vince Voyer; children Darren (Gayle) Voyer, Carrie (Chad) Voyer, and Shelley (Scott) Voyer; grandchildren Sydney (Teddy) Wiens, Hannah, Grayson, and Analise; her siblings, Joyce and Roy; and her sweet dog, who she adored, Lily.
Born on March 25, 1944, in Edmonton, Alberta, Louise brought light, warmth, and grace to the world from the very beginning. After meeting the love of her life, Vince, she moved to Kelowna, British Columbia, where they shared 59 beautiful years together. Louise was trained as an RN, caring for others with the same tenderness and compassion she extended to everyone she knew. She poured her heart into creative pursuits, from sewing intricate Halloween costumes and handmade Christmas stockings to baking her signature angel food cake and unforgettable perogies. Her artistry showed not only in her crafting and cooking but in the life she built — vibrant, joyful, and full of love. She found joy in the simple things: a beautiful garden, a perfect day on the golf course, or time spent in the kitchen preparing meals that brought her family together. Her talent was matched only by her warmth, and made every holiday that much more special — every meal more comforting, and every moment more meaningful. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and the constant companionship of Lily. Louise had a way of making life feel just a bit brighter, loving those she cared for most deeply, in a way that made everyone around her feel valued and at home. Her presence brought comfort and warmth, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held on FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM, located at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. There will be a reception to follow at the Springfield Funeral Home Family Centre.

Sending caring thoughts to all of you at this difficult time. I am so fortunate to have enjoyed Louise’s warmth and hospitality over so many years. To be honest, she felt more like a friend than an aunt – easy going and unassuming with a playful twinkle in her eyes. Cherish each and every precious memory. Love, Lynda

Hi Vince – don’t know if you remember me, but I arranged the blind date where you and Louise met! Glad it worked out! She was a lovely person!
Vince and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Debi and I met Louise through our golf trip to Spokane, and we always enjoyed spending time with you both. We reconnected when we moved to Gablecraft and have enjoyed being neighbours. Louise was a lovely person and we will miss her. Bean says she also misses Lily!
Vinnie and family,

We never met Louise but we know she was an amazing woman to have raised an incredible person such as (Aunt) Shelley. Louise achieved a great deal in her lifetime and will undoubtedly be a constant source of pride and loving memories to all of her family.
