We Remember
VRACAREVIC, Stefan
April 3, 2006 — September 17, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Stefan Vracarevic, who tragically left us at the age of 20.
Stefan was deeply loved by family and friends and brought warmth, kindness, and joy to the lives of everyone who knew him. His loving heart and genuine spirit created memories that will be cherished forever.
At just 20 years old, Stefan had so much life ahead of him. He followed his heart, did the things he wanted to do that brought him joy, and made meaningful connections with the people around him. Above all, his faith and connection to God brought him comfort and meaning.
Though Stefi’s time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain with his family and friends forever. We will remember Stefi for his loving spirit, his unique personality, and the special place he holds in our hearts.
May Stefan rest peacefully in God’s loving embrace. He will be deeply missed by the many he touched and forever loved.

I am offering my sincere condolences to the family and friends in this untimely unimaginable loss. My children, Connor and Cassidy, knew him him and have spoke highly of his kind nature and love of fitness. Although there truly are no words, I hope you can find peace in knowing his short time on earth made a huge impact to all who knew him. The community is mourning along side of you.
Kathy, Connor and Cassidy.
Alex, Daniela, Nemanja and family–I am so very sorry. It breaks my heart to hear this tragic news. Stefan was a wonderful mix of many great qualities. He was bright, energetic, curious, charming, athletic and also a bit mischievous. I remember his playful smile and happy-go-lucky demeanor. I am very glad to have been his teacher so that I could be a part of his life and so that Stefan was a part of my life too. I am glad to have a couple of great years of teaching with your amazing boys. I am sending you all my love and strength at this very hard time.
With love, Ms. Kim Dennis
Alex Daniela & family, we are heartbroken to hear about your loss. We have such great memories to hold about the years when Stef & our grandsons grew up together and spent many hours together whether in soccer or just hanging out. Stef was always so respectful to us and actually called us gramma & Grampa whenever we came to Kelowna for visits. We will deeply cherish those memories. Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Doug & Nevis Goruk 🙏🙏
To the Vracarevic Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Stefan’s passing.
I had the privilege of coaching Stefan for one season with Kelowna United. Although our time together was only a year, it was easy to see the kind of young man he was. Stefan earned the respect of his teammates through his work ethic, toughness, and commitment to the team. He carried himself with confidence, competed hard, and was someone others naturally gravitated toward.
Rugby was clearly an important part of Stefan’s life, but I will always remember the commitment he showed to his soccer teammates during the season I coached him. He earned respect through the way he competed, carried himself, and showed up for those around him. He brought tremendous energy to the field and left a positive impression on everyone who had the opportunity to play alongside him.
Since hearing of Stefan’s passing, I have found myself looking back at team photos and memories from that season. They remind me not only of the player he was, but of the enthusiasm, character, and presence he brought to our team. While my time coaching Stefan was only a small chapter in his life, I feel fortunate to have known him and to have witnessed the positive impact he had on those around him.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this incredibly difficult time. May the memories you shared with Stefan bring comfort in the days ahead, and may you find strength in knowing how deeply he was respected and appreciated by those who knew him.
With heartfelt condolences,
Randall Wight
Former Coach, Kelowna United FC
