We Remember
WAHL, Marion Patricia
December 25, 1955 — September 22, 2023
She chose her path and lived it well.
Born Christmas Day, 1955, departed while living the life she loved, on the warm afternoon of September 22, 2023.
There without fail when needed, a dear friend to many and a happy Aunt to her ten nieces and nephews. She was thorough in her career as an accountant but was much more than that, taking time for traveling and the outdoors with her cadre of friends. And then, when duty called and Mother needed help, Marion was there, no details shrugged off, steadfast, uncomplaining, a true daughter.
To say she will be missed is a great understatement but that is the truth of it. Marion will be missed deeply by family, friends, and others whose lives she touched.
Survived by her mother, Sybil, her sister, Marguerite, her brothers, Bruce, Robert, and Patrick Wahl, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nieces Carly and Shannon.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation are welcome.

My thoughts and condolences to Marion’s family. Marion was my friend, accountant, and cycling buddy, and I will greatly miss our times together on our bikes, and then chatting over lattes afterward.

My sincere sympathy to all of Marion’s family. She was a friend and my accountant, always professional in business matters and a fun friend and person to be around. I shared many hikes and ski days with her and will dearly miss those adventures. Irene Roberts

To Marion’s Family and Friends,
Please accept our most sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Marion. She was a very valued member and volunteer for the Kelowna Yoga House and an enthusiastic student. She will be deeply missed within our KYH yoga family.
I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Marion’s death. She has been an ongoing supporter of our non-profit yoga society for many years, also acting as our accountant and financial advisor. She will be deeply missed by many. Sending love and hugs to all her family.

It is with great shock and sadness to hear of Marion’s passing. She was an incredible and special person who smiled and laughed easily and brought warmth and kindness to all her interactions. I feel very blessed to have known her.
Condolences to all her siblings, Patrick, Bruce, Bob and Marguerite and their families, and to her mother Sybil, who I know will miss her so very deeply. Hugs to you all.
Sincere condolences on your loss. Although we did not know Marion, Marguerite is a friend known to us through our relatives Lynda & Den. I know family is the tie that binds and we send you all sympathy and hold you gently in our hearts.
