We Remember
WALIA, Marilyn Teri
February 10, 1941 — November 8, 2023
The family of Marilyn Walia is deeply saddened to announce that she went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2023. She was surrounded by family at the time and was 82 years of age.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Russell (Angela) Jones and Susan (Dwayne) Fergusson, and her grandchildren, Patrick (Katy) Fergusson & Olivia Fergusson, and Stevie Jones, Maddax Jones, & Kingston Jones; as well as her great-grandson, Archer Fergusson, siblings David (Kerin) Beach, Rosalie Beach and Nancy Beach. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband, Joginder (Paul) Walia, and her parents Russell and Dorothy Beach. Marilyn will be dearly missed.
John 11:25-26
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.”
Marilyn fiercely loved the Lord and shared her love with all. Although her last few years she struggled with her health her beautiful smile always lit up the room and her faith always remained.

Please accept my sorrow at Marilyn’s passing. It is true that her smile was like sunshine. Peace be with you.
Although I have sent my condolences I don’t think Marilyn would want anyone to be sad while she is radiantly happy in heaven! Watching 50 or 100 Near Death Experience (NDE) youtubes could help you realize that & enlighten you in profound other ways. Here’s a fun story to lighten your day……. When Olivia was very young and lived in the same building as Marilyn on River Drive they developed a strong connection. Olivia moved away & Marilyn went to visit with a suitcase in each hand. Olivia stood high on her porch with no handrails. She yelled, “Grandma!!!” and leaped from the porch into Marilyn’s arms who had to suddenly drop the suitcases to catch her.
Dear Nancy Beach and Family. Sending my condolences in memory of dear departed sister Marilyn. I am sure she is around now and enjoying her newly found peace and waiting for Jesus to present her with everlasting life.
Hugs, Beate
I think Marilyn would like to share the joy & peace she’s found in heaven.
A memorial gathering has been arranged for November 24 at Dunwood Place, top floor, in New Westminster from one to 4 p.m.
Dunwood Place is at 901 Colborne Street, New Westminster, V3L5E9. Free Parking can likely be found on Colborne Street & on Glover.
Our condolences to the family. My cousin Marilyn was a kind and giving person.
You have my sincerest condolences. I pray you, her children, theirs, and the extended family are comforted by the Holy Spirit at this time.
Marilyn is a dear saint, enjoying the fruit of her love for God and others. I’m glad we’ll meet again…
