Tante Gerdi you were like a second mom to me. So many of my childhood memories include you! I will miss your laugh and your phone calls…..you were such a positive person and always saw the good in everyone. You will be so missed. I love you…
~When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure~
Aunty Gerda, I have treasured every great moment with you as we were growing up. The summers spent in your pool, your fun & witty personality, your smile, your laughter, your cooking, your singing, listening to you chatter in german, and the amazing example you always showed us. I will truly miss you…sending you the hug that I never got to give you before you were gone…
Sending love to Angelika, Michael, Holly, and the girls…please keep in touch and know you are thought of often! More often than just getting together for weddings.
I love you and will miss you

Alles Liebe
Regina und Familie
I’m so sorry I can not convey my condolences in person. We were supposed to spend Easter with Aunt Gerdi in Kelowna, Ancas family and myself. But the Lord over life and death changed the plan and took Gerdi earlier. I am extremelly sorry to have missed her and even to not be able to join the celebration on 11th April. We would have certainly enjoyed 2 days of warmth and humour with her. I am however happy to have met Gerdi and Sigfried in 2010 in Germany (see also pic) in very good shape in Horst’s house. I am privileged, to have beside the memories also a gift from Gerdi I can see daily, the curtains of my bedroom. She insisted so much to pay them as a gift from her, and now it became a nice reminder of her.
I can imagine what a loss she is for the family and also for the German Club.
May God give you Gerdi peace!
Adrienne (Adi) from Munich
