We Remember
WARREN, Michelle Lea
September 21, 1974 — July 16, 2026
On July 16, 2026, Michelle passed away suddenly after a brief illness, leaving behind her heartbroken family: her daughter, Sarah; her son, Spencer; the father of her children, Mike; her father, Ken (Diana); her sister, Dannielle (Darren), and her nephews, Cameron and Jamie; stepbrother, Devan (Lou); stepsister, Shaylee (Cody); extended family and countless friends, including Penny, Angel, Anna, and Parker.
Michelle trained as a nurse and was a lifelong caregiver, working at assisted living homes and at Kelowna General Hospital. When Sarah and Spencer became involved in community services for children with special needs, Michelle retrained and became a certified therapeutic horseback riding instructor. Through this, Michelle was able to balance caring for Sarah and Spencer with instructing, and touched the lives of children and adults, allowing them to horseback ride when they otherwise would not be able to. Michelle rose to Manager of Therapeutic Riding at Arion Farms and was even named Canadian National Horsewoman of the Year!
Like her mother, Myra, who predeceased Michelle in 2007, she loved all animals. She started spending time at the barn when she was 13, owning horses, Tomy, Jesse, and then Clementine. Always taking in a new pet, Michelle had a wide variety of them over the years: many cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, tropical fish, lovebirds, and even a bearded dragon.
Michelle was so proud of her children; she bragged about them constantly to everyone, in person and on Facebook. She also loved her adventurous trips to Vegas with Dannielle and looked forward to them all year. She will be missed dearly, and Vegas will never be the same.
Further information about a gathering will be available at a later date.

Dear Warren family. It is with great sadness that I send my deepest condolences to you. I have such wonderful memories of our times of volunteering at Arion Farms in Kelowna. We saw the deep love and care she expressed to the riders and animals. I am so thankful that God brought Arion Farms into our lives. We truly learned what “unconditional love” is. May her beautiful legacy and memories always be with you.
Forever grateful to have known Michelle….Adena

Michelle and a heart of gold, always had a big smile and brought such a positive energy when you saw her.
She was a kind, caring, loving, beautiful soul and she will be tremendously missed.

My condolences to the family. Thoughts , prayers and tears. Michelle was like a daughter to me. Loved her dearly.
My condolences to Michelle’s family on her passing. I am heartbroken with you. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle at Arion Farm. Michelle was a strong role model and a kind and patient leader who connected with her co-workers, volunteers and especially the clients. Michelle was a person with an immense capacity for caring. I will always remember her kindness, compassion and empathy when she was the first person to call me when my husband died. Her ability to just be there and listen was so comforting. Sarah and Spencer, you were her world and she was always so proud of the two of you. I am honoured to have known her and I know she will be missed by the many people who loved her.

Dear Warren family,
Michelle and I had lost touch in the years since high school, and I am shocked and saddened by her passing. Sending much love and condolences to her children and family – and the family of friends she so clearly surrounded herself with.
You are in my thoughts.
