Al, Janet, Alex and family. There are no word to express that extreme sadness we feel at the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandy was an amazing woman and friend. So many fond and lovely memories of Sandy. She will be truely missed. May your memories hold her dear to your hearts forever.
Dearest Chloe, we are so sorry for your loss. Take care.
Dear Chloe and family, we’re all saddened by your Grandmother’s passing. We always enjoyed seeing her and your Grandfather on their visits to our church. I know that you all will miss her tremendously.
Remembering her is seeing a caring pleasant person. Ever helpful; ever there when needed; a quiet and warm hearted person. That was Sandy. She will be greatly missed. To the family – be comforted in knowing one day soon we’ll all be rejoicing together. May you feel God’s comfort during this time. Tudy&Cal Fortnum
Al and family. So sorry to hear about Sandy’s passing but I’m glad she was able to see you all in her final days. One of my best memories of Sandra was visiting auntie Joy and uncle Bert with my dad and mom Bud and Effie Young. Older cousin Sandra took us kids out horseback riding. She was able to take us out onto an open range and we were not just following a trail but galloping, my first time ever on a horse too!
She will be missed.

Alan, we are so sorry to hear of Sandra-Jean’s passing. We are so glad that you and Sandy made the effort to stop in Calgary each year as you were passing through to visit other family so we could get to know our cousin and you. I am sure that you will miss her greatly. You and the girls will be in our thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Al, Janet and family. So sorry to hear of Sandys passing. She was an inspiration to me in our early days of teaching Sunday School. Always a loving and gentle soul.
We met Sandy and Al through church. We’ve gotten to know them over the years through services and small group. Both Al and Sandy are beautiful examples of God’s love personified. They continue to be a blessing in our lives.
Our most sincere condolences. God bless you.
Al, Janet and girls – We will so miss Sandy. She has been such a wonderful “walking and talking” friend to so many. These last couple of years have been even more special as she shared her journey without complaining and appreciated every little thing done to encourage you both. The Kangaroo Farm visit was certainly a highlight recently. That’s where my memories want to settle when I think of her sweetness and interest in every little animal and also the people she was with. May the Lord bless your family as you contemplate the next part of your journey in life. Love, from Cherry and Bob.
My sincere condolences to Al, Janet and family. This awesome lady is loved and will be missed greatly. Sandy always demonstrated true friendship, grace and servant hood . I had the privilege to serve with her in ladies ministries and observe her commitment to many volunteer tasks. She was the glue and solid support to many. Alan and Sandy were a true team as they served together. Hugs to the family as they come to terms with their loss.
Much love Lark Willms
My heartfelt condolences to you Alan and all your family. My mother, Meta Sleigh knew Sandy and was the privileged recipient of many of Sandy’s handmade beautiful cards after mom moved to Ontario to be nearer her children. Sandy’s creativity is a godly trait that she channeled that creativity to show her love and concern to my mother and help maintain a connection for mom when her world changed so dramatically. Sandy I am sure will be missed by many…. but our hearts are full knowing in whose presence she lives now. May God bring comfort to the pain you must feel and hope in knowing she is alive and well in Christ Jesus. With love and prayers…Melinda Conner
