We Remember

WHITE, Bradley

Bradley Lawrence White passed away suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the age of 66 years.  Survived by his; loving wife, Margaret; daughter Jennifer (Steve) Cuddie of Kelowna; son Jordan White of Vancouver; parents Lawrence and Patricia White of Langley; brother Dan (Maureen) White and their daughter Kim of Victoria; and sister-in-law Deborah White and family of Campbell River. Predeceased by his brother Gordon White of Campbell River.

Brad was active in sports throughout his life. He participated in and won the World Junior 10 Pin Bowling Championships in 1971 in Regina, SK. He then went on to play in the North American Championships in Washington DC.  At the age of 19 he turned to major men’s fastball in Vancouver, and later in Kelowna when his job brought him here.  Around 1983 he gave up fastball and started playing golf, which he enjoyed right up until his passing. Brad’s happy place was spending time with his family, be it camping, travelling, houseboating, or one of the many other activities they did together. He also loved golfing with friends and fishing in Haida Gwaii, BC.  Brad is loved greatly and will be missed by all.

Condolences

  • Wendy Tadman says:

Margaret I am so sorry for the loss of your husband Brad. Even though you and I just met, I feel as though I knew Brad just a little bit given how you talked about him during our recent trip together and you and Wendy reminisced of the great memories you shared with your friends growing up in your “special” neighborhood in Kelowna. Hopefully these wonderful memories of the time you shared together will provide you with some comfort over the difficult days ahead. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time and sending you a big hug!

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Bradley.
We walked together round the track at KCES sessions. We walked at different speeds so our chats were never long, but he was always up for a bit of ribbing. He never complained, so his company was great. I will miss him for sure.
    Sandy.
