We Remember
WHITE, Ingrid Dolly (nee Peterson)
—
At the age of 84, after a brave battle with cancer, Ingrid Dolly White (nee Peterson) peacefully passed away on the morning of December 2nd with her children and a dear friend by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Fred Bircham, Pat Dandeneau, and Lorraine Wright, husband George, and Maria. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Denise, Brett, Christine, Brooke, Kevin, Leanne, and Nicole; 8 great-grandchildren, Patrick, Celina, Bradley, Alexa, Evie, Lila, Deegan, and Ella; 1 great-great-grandchild, Lyssa; her sister Helen Levesque; and a plethora of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her husband Bill White, her parents Frank and Irene Peterson, and her sister Alice Brolly. When Ingrid was growing up, her nick name was Pete. Later she became affectionately known as Ingy. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, self-confidence and her infectious smile and laughter. What a caterpillar perceives as the end, to a butterfly is just the beginning. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the Canadian Cancer Society, 565 West 10th Ave., Vancouver, BC, V5Z 4J4. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Royal Lepage Prime Conference Centre, 1879 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB. We would also like to recognize the friends and staff at Brandt’s Creek Mews where mom resided over the last 6 months.

I will always remember the happy days with Ingrid when my children were young and we all had happy times together at Brereton Lake-
Ingrid was a kind person to my son and helped him with the purchase of his first house[their old house on Talbot]–
I have thought of her often and will miss her–she was a good and loyal wife to my father-
