Very sorry to have heard of Bev’s passing, my condolences to you and the rest of the family. There was a time there when she was giving me a bit of motherly advise as well 🙂 I had intended to see you and share our memories together at the Celebration of Life but learned yesterday that I will be unable to attend. So glad we did share part of our lives together and that those memories remain part of everything yet to come.
When I think of Bev the following words come to mind: smiling, kind, helpful, joyful, caring, serene, loving, willing.
She will be greatly missed!
Dear Doug, Mark, Brian and all the Whittle family
Our sincere sympathy on the loss of a sparky, wonderful woman! Even only a short visit with Bev left you feeling uplifted and happy, thanks to her great smile and easy laugh! You will miss her greatly. May the special memories give you strength and peace in the days ahead. We will be out of town for the Celebration of Life but will be thinking of you.
Our sincere sympathy to Doug and family. Bev was a bright spot in our lives – always friendly and enthusiastic. Our bridge games were always fun and well played. We will miss her. Love Betty and Ham Sparling
To Doug and Bev’s cherished children and grandkids. What a woman! She was so full of life and enthusiasm. A great workmate, supportive and sharing. I worked with Bev for 7 years at Okanagan College. She was the BEST! What she wouldn’t try and do for her students whom she believed in so much! And that family of hers, she loved you all so and was so proud of each and every one of you. I could write all day sharing her stories about each of you. Today as you remember Bev, I know that she is smiling and sending her love back to you all. We will all miss her so. Rest in peace, dear friend. Our hearts are sad with missing you, but our lives are better for having had you in them. Donna
