Dear Randy and family
We bestow our sympathy in this huge loss. We know how much he meant to you and Laurie.
Our deepest sympathies Denise, Randy, Char and families on the passing of your father. Our families go back a long ways.
We had many good times and laughs. The farm on Wallace Road of riding horses, doing chores, hauling hay, playing sports and the swimming pool were very special. Whenever we came back to visit the glass of wine, cheezies and conversation at Mike`s were always a fun time. We all will miss him. Rest in Peace Mike!
Randy, Char, Denise and family, my sincere condolences on your loss. I have many memories of your dad when we were neighbours on Wallace Road. Looking back, damn, those were good days! My first memories were when he was a milkman for NOCA and at the same time he meticulously maintained the farm, cattle and horses. He kindly loaned my family the little cot when I had my hip disease and was put into a large cast. I slept on that thing for 5 months on the main floor of our old farm house. Thank goodness I had a window looking right out at your farm so I had something to look at! We practiced for hours shooting your basketball at the homemade hoop he made out of heavy wire and gunny sack mounted on the side of the barn and the swimming pool where we learned how to cannonball. Playing hockey for hours and hours after school in your field. Watching the Stanley Cup(s) on the colour TV in your family room while your dad did his needle work. Playing pool and snooker in your basement while listening to Song Sung Blue (Neil Diamond). My most memorable horse rides were organized by your dad – riding to the top of Dilworth Mountain and Tower Ranch. He was instrumental in my upbringing. I heard him urge you to do your chores (milk the cows or change the sprinklers) before we could play. These were all good life lessons for me. I know he will be missed immensely,
We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wickenheiser when we had to stay in my Dad’s condo for a short time. He was a very nice man who was always so kind and friendly. He would often surprise my son with a chocolate bar or treat. He always had a smile and was always so sweet and welcoming to us. We are sorry for your family’s loss. May he Rest In Peace.
I was sorry to read of your father’s passing, Randy, and wanted to extend my sincere sympathy. I noticed that your father was born the same year as my dad and both were prairie boys. Their generation certainly valued a strong work ethic, showed resilience in challenging times, and made sacrifices for family. May happy memories of your parents now ease the loss for you and your family.
Our deepest condolences to all of Mike’s family during this very difficult time in your life.Cherish those loving memories and keep them close by to help you through those difficult days ahead.
Denise, Char, Randy and family. Our sympathy goes out to all of you. It’s so sad and hard to lose a loved one. Mike was very respected by all who knew him and he instilled great family values in his children. and grand children. He will be missed by all.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Denise, Randy and Char and your family. Uncle Mike was always such a positive, kind and friendly guy when our family came to visit.
I was so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. My memories of the many dinners we shared and then the card games. The laughter was always there, like when your dad would throw the whole deck of cards in the garbage when the guys were losing. Those memories will never fade from my mind. Both your mom and dad were terrific people.
Mike was a gem of a man. He was always so thankful for the littlest things. His stories were so vivid and will be missed.
All the best to your families.
SIncerely,
Craig Tostenson
