Thank you. Our mom was a very special person.
We were so very sorry to hear the sad news. I golfed with Carolyn at Gallaghers and also played bridge with her.
She was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. Our sincere condolences, Ron & Zinnia Gregory
Thank you Zinnia. She loved golf and her bridge. She met many wonderful people through Gallaghers and you were one of them.
To Carolyn’s Family:
I was very fortunate to have known and worked with Carolyn at Gallagher’s Canyon Activities Centre. I grew to love her. I would say that she was THE rolodex for the community, her mind containing any pertinent resident information that might be needed. While many tried to convert her to use electronic methods for maintaining this information, her determined way of paper and word of mouth proved to be just as effective, and sometimes better. She was the gate keeper and kept everyone in line, lovingly.
I am so saddened that she has passed and know how much she will be missed by all of us.
My thoughts are with each of you.
Debbie and Hugh Wright
Thank you so much for your kind words. It always amazed me how she could remember all the residents and where they lived. She loved being part of it all.
Very sorry to hear of Carolyne’s passing. Our condolences, Bob & Marg Carnegie , Gallaghers
I am so sad to hear that Carolyn has lost her fight with cancer. We had so many great chats at the Village centre on weekends. I remember one 15+ years ago when I complimented her on her new hairdo. She gave me a sly grin and said she was just getting ready for when she lost her hair. Fast forward 15 years when cancer returned and she said that she beat it once before and would do her best to do it again. She was a fighter!! It’s just not fair! I will miss her as she was such a great gal!
Dear Candace & Lou,
Thinking of you – my prayers are with you. Your mom/mom-in-law was a wonderful person. She will be so missed.

Our sincere condolences to Carolyn’s family. We miss Carolyn – she was always so warm, engaging and helpful to all.
We celebrated our birthdays together for 20 years. When I first came to Gallagher’s as a new golfer, CAROLYN and Dianna Stinson took me under their wings and made golf enjoyable. We will miss CAROLYN sense of humour and ready laugh and friendly face at Gallagher’s activity center. Our heart felt sympathy at this time to Tara, Lou, and grandchildren

We were so saddened to hear that Carolyn lost her battle with cancer. She was strong, upbeat, and always remained hopeful. Far too soon to lose your mom. Far too soon for Gallaghers to lose her. We will miss her.
God Bless.
We are very sad to hear of Carolyn’s passing & the very difficult struggle she had recently trying to battle for her health. Carolyn played a significant part in the Gallaghers’ community working at the center . Being such a long term member of the golf course , ladies club, card games and other activities; she was very well known, liked & respected . Also, very well known throughout the Okanagan Valley for all the golf tournaments she and Deanna entered. Her smiling face, good cheer & tales will be missed very much. We send our sincere condolences to the members of Carolyn’s family.
Val and Rod MacDonald
I always enjoyed it when Carolyn was at the front desk at Gallagher’s. We would have a chat about movies and kids. Carolyn always asked how our dollies were doing. Clearly she loved her children and grandchildren!
We will miss Carolyn’s warmth and hospitality at Gallaghers Village Centre. Our thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn’s family.
Gilbert and Christine Fick
Carolyn was the welcoming friendly voice of Gallaghers, not only to the residents but also their dogs. Her energetic, positive and helpful attitude will always be remembered. I could not have asked for a better mentor when I joined the staff at the activity center. Carolyn adored her grandchildren and would get her Ipad out every chance she got to show pictures of them. She will be missed so very very much. Be at peace my friend.
