We Remember
WOOLNER, Debra Ann
April 7, 1956 — July 2, 2026
It is with immense love and sadness that we announce the loss of Debra Ann Woolner, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 70.
Debra is lovingly survived by her daughter Marian (Reece); grandchildren Mackenzie, Dakotah, Colt, Marshall, and Raine; great-grandchildren Hazel, Grayson, and Caitlyn; and sisters Katherine (David) and Nancy (Jim).
She now goes to join those who passed before her, including her mother Marilyn; father Hugh; brother Clifford; and daughter Marilynn.
Debra was a loving, generous, and determined woman who always put others before herself. She had a stubborn streak that was simply part of who she was, and those who knew her best wouldn’t have wanted her any other way. She spent her working years in many different roles, including as a weather woman, truck driver, line cook, and waitress, and was known for her strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever she could.
She enjoyed baking, crocheting, crafting, and travelling, with her Alaskan cruise being one of her favourite adventures. The family home in Langley was a place where everyone loved to gather, and the kids always looked forward to visiting Mom and Dad. More than anything, Debra loved her family and treasured the time they spent together.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Family and friends will each honour Debra in their own ways. No formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA).
