Gordo, your smile lit up a room & your wit made everyone smile, including me. We all loved being around you; and your family- especially your wife, loved the bones of you. You were Joanne’s rock & her best friend, she was so proud of being your wife. You were an amazing father, brother & son. You had the biggest heart of anyone I knew and family was so important to you. When I think of my time spent living in Canada, it is never without thinking of you & your family. Canada to me is the Wynn family, my second home. I loved our games nights in your basement, our pool games and whipping you at Mario Cart even though you had an excuse for not winning & were never a gracious winner & a very bad loser😂. I loved our time with you and your family at the cabin & our canoe rides exploring the lake. Every time I watch Survivor I think of you & your family. You’ll be happy to know my 2 kids love Survivor too. You and your family taught me dices and golf, both games I’ve taken and taught to my kids too. My memories of you & your family I will treasure forever. I only hope you are now at peace with your boys. That reunion would be amazing to witness, as I am sure they have thrown their arms around you with love and thanks for how much you did for them both now that they can. Your Dad however will be a different story, he’ll be clipping you over the ear for visiting sooner than you should. I can just hear him telling you off in 1 sentence by then gathering you in for a hug in the next. So sadly I bid you farewell my cousin. Little did I know that when I left Canada almost 14 years ago it was going to be our final farewell. I’d hope to return in the next couple years to see how old & grey you’d got! You were loved. You were loved by so many. Love you Gord. Until we meet again. The world lost another angle & Canada will never be the same 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️.
Joanne, Ashley, Aunty M, Joa, Teri & family, my heart goes out to you at this time. May the loving memories you have, and there are many, help heal your broken hearts over this time. I love you all.
