We Remember
ZUBOT, Norman
August 27, 1953 — November 20, 2024
It is with immense love and sadness that we announce the loss of Norman Zubot, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 71.
Norman was born on August 27, 1953, in Saskatchewan and later moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where he found a second family of dear friends. It was there that he met his beloved wife of 27 years, Shannon Zubot, at a bridal show—a moment that led to a beautiful partnership. Together, Norm and Shannon built their life first in Edmonton and later in Kelowna, BC. Norm’s home life included the love of many a beagle, including his “little buddy” Liam.
He will be remembered for his kind heart and engaging conversations. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM (PST), located in the Family Centre of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

Katie’s and my thoughts and love go out to you and we will always remember Norm as the kind-hearted soul he always showed himself to be. Jay
Shannon, and Norm, were the best of neighbours, the best of friends. We share so many sunlit or fireside evening laughing and playing games. You introduced us to the scary place of Edmonton, lol. You watched and supported Miro’s entrepreneurial ideas. You played guitar with Vaughan into the evening hours. You disputed property easements with kath and we all loved every moment of it. We know you are at you most radiant now. More than ever you inspire us to love to be and to live.
My deepest condolences Shannon. Sending you a hug and hoping you are able to find some peace in the memories you have.
