ZVONARICH, Mark

Mark passed away peacefully in Kelowna at Hospice House on February 1, 2014 with family by his side. He was 52. He is survived by his loving family, wife Lori, father Leo, mother Ann, brother Brent (Sheri), and sister Gail (Bill). Mark also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, as well as countless friends whom he touched throughout his beautiful life.

 

Mark was born in Kelowna, BC and since then, he always had a passion for fishing. When his loved ones think of Mark, they think of him sitting in a fishing boat with his dog, Lady, sitting right beside him. There was no place he would rather be than enjoying the outdoors, whether it be camping, fishing or simply spending time with his wife and family whom he loved dearly. Mark is now at peace, reunited with his loved ones who have passed before him. He will forever be missed until the day we meet again.

 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 7th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association – Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6.     Leo and Ann and family, I am very sorry to have read about Mark’s passing. I remember him well from our youth living in Rutland. When I think of Mark I flash back to playing on Leo’s bulldozer when it was at my dad’s getting repaired. He was a really nice guy! My sincere condolences.
