We Remember

DELGATTY, Brian Ralph

January 16, 1951 — April 4, 2026

Born on January 16, 1951, Brian Ralph Delgatty, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at the age of 75.

Brian was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and in 1958, the family moved to Kelowna, BC. He grew up playing baseball and enjoyed spending time in the lake. He had an early passion for motorcycles and got his first Harley-Davidson when he was 18. He loved cruising with friends on the open roads. Brian loved dogs and had a horse, which he adored. He was also extremely proud of his logging career. In his downtime, he enjoyed cheering on his favourite teams, the Blue Jays and the Canucks.

Brian’s most precious love was the birth of his twin daughters in June of 1987. They were the light of his life and he loved them to the moon and back.

He is survived by his daughters Annie (Doug) and Katie (Kaylin); grandchildren Kalia and Griffin; brother Jim (Brenda); and sisters Sandy Unser and Judy Langford.

Brian was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Frieda, his brother Glen, and brother-in-law, Jack.

In memory of Brian, donations can be made to World Vision Canada.

In keeping with Brian’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
