We Remember
ROESLER, Ronald “Ron”
May 17, 1942 — December 30, 2025
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the loss of Ronald Roesler, who went to be with the Lord peacefully with family by his side on December 30, 2025 at the age of 83.
He is survived by his sons Randy (Sandra) of Edmonton and Darren (Sabine) of Lake Country; daughter Christine (Paul) Cockings of West Kelowna; grandchildren Arwynn, Ethan and Claudia; sister Trudy Roesler of Kelowna; sisters-in-law Ruth (Joe) Dion of Vancouver, BC, Lois (Harold) Mickelson of Barrhead, AB; nephews: Joshua, Bryon, James; and many dear friends.
Ron was predeceased by his princess, Doris, in 2018, his father Arnold Roesler in 1997, and his mother Erna Roesler in 2011.
Ron was a loyal Christ follower who loved genuinely, encouraged freely, and greeted everyone with a smile. His greatest passions were for God, his family (which included many honorary members), and service to others. He was a loyal friend to many.
Even while enduring 40 years of chronic pain, gratitude never ceased to be the enduring theme in his life. He knew his strength came from God and freely gave Him the glory for it.
Ron will be fondly remembered for his dedication to different roles within the church, including part-time pastoring and music ministry.
We will forever miss his positive, encouraging presence in our lives.

Dear Christine, Darren, and Randy,
What a beautiful obituary, one that depicts your dad’s life so well, and one that any child of God would be pleased to have to describe them one day. Your dad lived his life so well! His life of gratitude, in light of his daily suffering, depicts a soul that has dug deeply into the reserves of His Father’s grace and abounding love. He was a great testimony, even across the miles! We send our deepest sympathies to you all, and rejoice with your dad for a well finished race!
Love,
Ron & Doris Jaster
What a wonderful, bright light Ron has consistently shone into this world. He was a friend to so many of us and his smile and incredibly beautiful voice will be missed. Love to the whole family. You are held deeply in our hearts.
Dear Randy, Darren, Christine: I am very sad for the loss of your father. He will have no more pain and suffering. What a great journey he has completed. Jesus was his refuge in his pain. Not many could have endured like Ron. His smile and kindness are my most vivid memories. May we all try to live such an exemplary life.
Dear Christine, Darren & Randy and families:
We are sending our sincere condolences at this time of loss! The loss of a parent is hard at any age and we are sure you will miss your dad a lot! However, reminisce often about the good memories you’ve made over the many years. We remember the years spent in Kelowna and getting to know your dad during the time! We so much enjoyed the men’s quartet during those years and listening to your dad’s amazing bass voice! We know he loved the Lord and His church! May you find comfort in knowing he is in a better place, resting in the arms of Jesus, without any pain or discomfort!
Blessings,
Pastor Sieg & Irma Schuler
Sentite condoglianze
Please accept our sincerest condolences, extended to the entire Roesler family. Our visits with Ron and Doris in Edmonton were always filled with warmth and laughter, thanks in part to our shared connection through Manola. Their wedding was a memorable occasion for us. Ron’s beautiful voice was a gift he used to glorify the Lord, and it was always a joy to hear him sing. May God be your source of comfort in the days ahead.

May God’s love and grace surround you with peace!
Sending our heartfelt condolences to the entire family! Brian often talked about the Roeslers and how you “lived down the street” and the memories. I enjoyed hearing the music from the “East” and the trios he would do with my father-in law and Brian’s uncle. I remember when you first moved to BC and stopped in in Vernon and we had you for a meal at our home. Brian will mention how when your Dad was Pastor in Hamilton and he was young, he prayed with him to become a Christian. May God comfort you and help you to follow in your Dad’s example!
My condolences to all the dear ones left behind.. I had the wonderful opportunity to be in his youth group after Sunday school. Learned important things. His wonderful deep bass voice continues to be heard on the Botschaft d e s He i l s.
